To configure your Snom 3xx, 7xx, or D-series IP phone with Internetport's SIP trunk, you need access to the phone's web interface and enter necessary information from your Internetport customer portal. Follow this guide to connect your phone equipment correctly for functioning VoIP calls.

Find the Snom Phone's IP Address

To access the web interface on your Snom phone, you first need to find its IP address. This can be done by looking at it displayed on the phone or by logging into your router and searching for the device.

Use your computer or tablet to open a web browser window.

  2. Step 2: Enter the IP address

In the address field, enter the IP address you found earlier and press Enter. If required, accept any security warnings.

Configure NAT traversal and STUN

  1. Step 13: Navigate to Network Settings

Go to the Network Settings menu.

  2. Step 14: Enable NAT traversal

Save, register, and test calls

  1. Step 16: Save settings

Click the button to save your changes.

Wait for the phone to register with the SIP server. This is usually displayed on the screen or in the web interface.

To verify that the configuration is correct, make a test call to another phone number.

Common Issues

  • Check that you are using the correct port (5061 for TLS or 5060 for UDP).
  • For security reasons, we recommend using TLS instead of UDP.
  • If the phone does not register, check your network settings and STUN server configuration.
