Inserting Your SIM Card

Your SIM card is the key to connecting to our network. Here’s how to insert it into your device:

  1. Power off your device.
  2. Locate the SIM tray or slot on your device. This is usually found near the battery compartment, but can vary by model.
  3. If there's a cover over the SIM tray, gently remove it using a paperclip or similar tool.
  4. Remove the SIM card from its protective packaging and carefully insert it into the slot with the gold contacts facing down.
  5. Replace the SIM tray cover if necessary and power on your device.

Configuring APN Settings

Access Point Name (APN) settings are crucial for connecting to mobile networks. Here’s how to configure them for different devices:

Windows Devices

  1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot.
  2. Select your SIM card and click on it.
  3. Scroll down and click on Data usage.
  4. Click on the Advanced options link at the bottom of the page.
  5. Under the APN settings, enter the following details:
    • APN: internetport.se
    • User name: (leave blank)
    • Password: (leave blank)
  6. Click on Save.

Android Devices

  1. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network.
  2. Tap on your SIM card and then select Advanced.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Access point names.
  4. Tap the Add button to create a new APN.
  5. Enter the following details:
    • Name: Internetport
    • APN: internetport.se
    • User name: (leave blank)
    • Password: (leave blank)
  6. Tap on Save.

iOS Devices

iOS devices automatically detect and configure APN settings. However, if you encounter issues, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular.
  2. Tap on your carrier (Internetport).
  3. If prompted, enter your APN settings:
    • APN: internetport.se

Routers

For routers, you will need to access the router's web interface and configure the APN manually.

  1. Connect your computer to the router using an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
  2. Open a web browser and enter the router’s IP address (commonly 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1).
  3. Log in with your administrator credentials.
  4. Navigate to the mobile broadband settings section, usually found under Internet or Connection.
  5. Enter the following APN details:

  6. Save the settings and restart your router.

Making Your First Connection

Once you've configured your APN settings, it's time to connect to the Internetport network:
