To connect your Yeastar P-Series or S-Series to Internetport's SIP trunk, you need an active SIP trunk on Internetport. This guide will walk you through configuring the SIP trunk, incoming routes (DID), and outbound rules.

Log in to Yeastar Management Platform

  1. Step 1: Open a browser

    Connect to your Yeastar P-Series or S-Series by opening a browser and entering its IP address.

  2. Step 2: Log in

    Use your administrative credentials to log in to the Yeastar Management Platform.

Create SIP Trunk

  1. Step 3: Go to Trunks

    In the main menu, select Trunks.

  2. Step 4: Add new SIP trunk

    Click on Add and choose SIP Trunk.

  3. Step 5: Configure basic settings

    Name the trunk, e.g., "Internetport SIP". Under SIP Server, enter sip.internetport.se and port number 5060. Choose protocol UDP or TLS based on your requirements.

  4. Step 6: Authentication

    Enter the credentials found in your Internetport customer portal under Services -> My Services -> [SIP trunk] -> Configuration Details.

  5. Step 7: Complete configuration

    Review settings and click on Save.

Configure incoming routes (DID)

  1. Step 8: Go to DID

    In the main menu, select DID.

  2. Step 9: Add new DID

    Click on Add and enter the incoming numbers you have for Internetport.

  3. Step 10: Configure routing

    Select a destination, such as a ring group or specific phone number, where calls should be directed.

  4. Step 11: Complete configuration

    Review settings and click on Save.

Configure outbound routes and dialing rules

  1. Step 12: Go to Outbound Routes

    In the main menu, select Outbound Routes.

  2. Step 13: Add new outbound route

    Click on Add and name the route, e.g., "Internetport".

  3. Step 14: Configure routing

    Enter prefixes or number patterns to be used for this route. Select the newly created SIP trunk under Trunks.

  4. Step 15: Complete configuration

    Review settings and click on Save.

Test incoming and outgoing calls

  1. Step 16: Test outbound calls

    Dial an external number to verify that outgoing calls work.

  2. Step 17: Test incoming calls

    Try calling one of the DID numbers you configured to ensure incoming calls work.

Common issues

  • Trunk offline: Check network connection and SIP server settings.
  • Registration fails: Verify credentials and contact Internetport support if the issue persists.
