This article explains how to view website visit statistics in Plesk. Before you can access statistics for the first time, you need to configure which statistics tool Plesk should use to collect and display the data.

How to do it

  1. Step 1: Choose a statistics tool (first-time setup)

This step only needs to be done once when setting up statistics for the first time.

Log in to your Plesk account and click on Websites and Domains on the left-hand side of the panel.

On the Websites and Domains screen, click on the Hosting Settings icon.

Scroll down to the Web scripting and statistics section. At the bottom of this section, click on the drop-down box and choose either Webalizer or AWStats. Both tools provide comprehensive website statistics.

Note: Webalizer and AWStats collect and display statistics in different ways. For more information, visit Webalizer and AWStats.

Click OK to save your choice.

If you want to change your statistics tool later, simply repeat this process and select a different option from the dropdown.

  2. Step 2: View your website statistics

    Log into your Plesk account.

On the left-hand side of the panel, click on Statistics.

Click on Web Statistics, then click View for the domain whose statistics you wish to see. The statistics will open in a new window.
