Creating a database alone is insufficient. To effectively manage and deploy it for your website, you need to add a database user as well. With Webuzo, adding or creating a database user for your existing databases is a straightforward process that takes just a few clicks.

How to Add/Create a Database User

  1. Step 1: Log in to Webuzo

    Log in to your Webuzo user account.

  2. Step 2: Navigate to Database Management

    Navigate to the Database section and click on "Manage Databases."

  3. Step 3: Select Add User To Database

    Choose the "Add User To Database" tab.

    The form for "Create Database User(s)" will be presented.

  4. Step 4: Fill in User Details

    Complete the following fields:

    • New User: Input the username for the database user.
    • Password: Generate or enter a password.

  5. Step 5: Create the User

    Click on "Create."

    Upon successful execution, a confirmation message will appear on the screen, signifying that Webuzo has created the database user and added it to its list of users.
