This guide shows you how to configure password strength requirements for WHM and cPanel users. By setting minimum password complexity standards, you can significantly improve the security of your server and protect user accounts from unauthorized access.

How to Configure Password Strength

  1. Step 1: Log in to WHM

    Access your WHM control panel using your administrator credentials.

  2. Step 2: Navigate to Security Center

    Select Security Center from the navigation menu.

    Choose Password Strength Configuration from the menu.

  4. Step 4: Set the Password Strength Value

    Define the default password strength for your entire hosting account by entering a numerical value. You can either use the horizontal scrolling button to adjust the value or directly input the numerical password strength in the provided box.

    The higher the numerical value, the stronger the password requirements will be for your users.

  5. Step 5: Save Your Configuration

    Click the Save button to apply your password strength settings.
