This guide walks you through restoring a backup for a file or directory in WHM. As an admin user, you can restore any previously backed up file or directory by following these steps.

How to Restore a Backup

  1. Step 1: Access the Backup Restoration Interface

    Log in to WHM, select the Backup option, and then click on File and Directory Restoration.

  2. Step 2: Select the Account

    Choose the account for which you want to view and restore the backup.

  3. Step 3: View Available Backups

    Click the View Backup option located at the bottom of the page.

  4. Step 4: Locate the File or Directory

    Either enter the path directly or browse the files and directories, then click Show backups.

  5. Step 5: Browse and Select Backup

    If you chose to browse files and directories, you will see the available files displayed. Click Show backup to view the backup details.

    Finally, initiate the backup restoration by clicking the Restore option.
